Meet Our Lighthouse Staff

Dr. Curt Wegley

Pastor Curt received his Master of Divinity from Biola University and his Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary. As the former Protestant Pastor at Boys Town (a residential group home to 400 “at-risk” youth), Pastor Curt developed a passion for ministry to America’s at-risk youth. Colby graduated from California State University Fullerton with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management with an emphasis in Entertainment and Hospitality. Colby has been a worship leader since he was 11 years old. The Lord has given Colby a passion to share his faith in Jesus Christ as an actor/voice-over actor in Hollywood! We are so grateful to have Colby lead our congregation in praise each weekend!

Cheri Stephens
Finance Secretary

“Hello. Welcome to First Presbyterian.” These are the words I heard on the first Sunday my family and I visited this church. That was 38 years ago. My, how time flies! In that time, I have participated in both vocal and handbell choirs, been the Nursery Supervisor, was ordained a Deacon and an Elder, organized a Variety Show, Christmas programs, the annual Christmas Craft Jumble Sale, and HeArts & Crafts Day. Whew!!! I am currently the Lighthouse Handbell Choir Director. I’m looking forward to meeting YOU!

Angie Rummell
Director of Youth Ministry

Angie Rummell graduated from The Masters University with a degree in Teacher Education. She has worked as a Jr. High and Elementary teacher and serves with Apartment Life alongside her husband, Colby.

Growing up, her parents served as missionaries in Cameroon, Africa and then as pastors. Witnessing their devotion to sharing the gospel and love for scripture, propelled Angie to seek after Jesus and pursue a personal relationship with Him. During her time with YWAM in Nepal, she experienced the Lord’s mercy, unconditional love, and His relentless pursuit of His people. That’s when she decided to dedicate her life to live for Him. Her highest desire is to witness the next generation have a personal encounter with the Lord and fall more in love with who Christ is.

Maia Carter
Office Administrative Assistant

It is my joy to serve others and share the love of Jesus Christ. My experience as an office administrator has given me many wonderful opportunities to learn about the importance of community, leadership and extending a helping hand. I also enjoy being creative and singing. I’m happy to be apart of Lighthouse and to meet you!
